February11, 2010—San Jose, Calif. – Top Real Estate Team Barbara and Nick Lymberis have opened Perfect Harmony Properties on “The Avenue” in Willow Glen.

 

As a team, the Lymberis’ excel in marketing, negotiation and first-hand knowledge of Silicon Valley’s housing market and current trends. They will focus their real estate marketing efforts on the neighborhood of Willow Glen and West San Jose areas of San Jose, as well as in the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga and Campbell. Nick was born and raised in Willow Glen and Barbara moved to the neighborhood in 1978.

 Barbara and Nick have been real estate professionals for eight and nine years respectively. Prior to opening their own brokerage, they were both at Alain Pinel Realtors, and began their careers at Prudential California Realty, also on Lincoln Avenue. Before entering real estate, Barbara was in marketing and public relations. Earlier in her career, she was a professional vocalist. Nick was a practicing attorney and managing associate at Lymberis, Tollner, Stebbins & Bahrick from the late 1980s until 1999 before entering real estate. Nick is also a vocalist and met Barbara in 1983 while both were singing leading roles with Opera San Jose.

In 2006, Barbara’s hard work earned her the “Realtor of The Year Award” by the Santa Clara Valley Women’s Council of Realtors; “Volunteer of the Year” given by the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors; and the “Million Dollar Club” award by the Luxury Home Institute. She holds numerous industry designations including Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), PMN, CLHMS and ASP. She is certified as the National Association of Realtors’ “One America” and as a Mediator/Negotiator by Pepperdine Law School. She is Vice President for the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS and serves on the Executive, and BORPAC committees; she also chairs the SCCR Foundation. In addition, Barbara is a Director of the California Association of REALTORS, serving on the state Housing, Local Government Forum and Legislative committees. At the national level, she has served on the Budget and Finance Committee for the National Women's Council of REALTORS as well as on the Land Use and Environmental Committee for the National Association of REALTORS.

 

 

During Nick’s tenure as a Broker, he has received several top producing awards and designations including CRS, SRES, e-PRO, CLHMS and ASP. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California at Berkeley and a JD from the University of San Francisco. Nick has been involved in the local business and professional community for many years. He is a Director of the California Association of Realtors serving on the state Professional Standards (Vice Chair in 2009), Legislative and Standard Forms Advisory committees. He has also chaired the Grievance Committee, and currently serves on the local Professional Standards committee, at the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS. Nick is still a member of the CA State Bar but works full-time as a REALTOR.
