Alain Pinel Realtors´ (APR) Vice President Regional Manager for southeastern Santa Clara County Jeff Barnett announced that Barbara and Nick Lymberis have joined the Almaden office as associate and broker associate. As a team, the Lymberis´ excel in marketing, negotiation and first-hand knowledge of Silicon Valley´s housing market and current trends. They will focus their real estate marketing efforts on the Almaden, Willow Glen and West San Jose areas of San Jose, as well as in the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga and Campbell. Nick was born and raised in Willow Glen and Barbara moved to the area in 1978. Barbara and Nick have been real estate professionals for six and seven years respectively. Prior to joining APR, they were both at Elite Realty, Prudential California and Realty World. Before entering real estate, Barbara was in marketing and public relations. Earlier in her career, she was a professional vocalist. Nick was a practicing attorney and managing associate at Lymberis, Tollner, Stebbins & Bahrick from the late 1980s until 1999 before entering real estate. Nick is also a vocalist and met Barbara in 1983 while both were singing leading roles with Opera San Jose. In 2006, Barbara´s hard work earned her the "Realtor of The Year Award" by the Santa Clara Valley Women´s Council of Realtors; "Volunteer of the Year" given by the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors; and the "Million Dollar Club" award by the Luxury Home Institute. She holds numerous industry designations including Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), PMN, CLHMS and ASP. She is certified as the National Association of Realtors´ "One America" and as a Mediator/Negotiator by Pepperdine Law School. She is on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS and serves on the Executive, Finance and BORPAC committees; she also chairs the Community Relations Group. In addition, Barbara is a Director of the California Association of REALTORS, serving on the state Housing Opportunities, Local Government Relations and MLS committees. At the national level, she serves on the Budget and Finance Committee for the National Women's Council of REALTORS as well as on the Land Use and Environmental Committee for the National Association of REALTORS. Barbara received her Bachelor of Music from the notable Boston Conservatory of Music and a Masters in Music from San Jose State University. During Nick´s tenure at Elite Realty, Prudential California and Realty World, he received several top producing awards and designations including CRS, SRES, e-PRO, CLHMS and ASP. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California at Berkeley and a JD from the University of San Francisco. Nick has been involved in the local business and professional community for many years. He is a Director of the California Association of Realtors serving on the state Professional Standards, Legislative and Risk Management committees.
